Genetic data is the most personal information you have. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.

For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller is:

Under Article 9 GDPR, genetic data may only be processed on the basis of your explicit consent. We therefore ask for written consent before any sample is analysed, and we do not use samples for research, resale, or any purpose beyond the test you ordered. You may withdraw consent at any time before analysis begins; once analysis is complete, the result already exists and withdrawal governs further use and retention, not the completed analysis.
All analysis takes place in our own laboratory in Zhuji. We do not outsource testing or send samples to third-party laboratories. Biological samples are destroyed within 60 days of testing unless you instruct us in writing to retain them for a longer period or for repeat analysis. The DNA profile and report are retained as described below.
You can ask us to delete anything earlier — see "Your rights" below.
We do not sell data. We share it only where necessary to run your order:
Our laboratory is in the People's Republic of China, so samples and data submitted from outside China are transferred here for processing. China is not covered by an EU adequacy decision. We rely on your explicit consent and on the necessity of the transfer to perform the contract you asked for, and we apply the same confidentiality, security and retention standards to all clients regardless of where they live.
If you are in the EEA or UK and would like details of the safeguards applied to your transfer, email us and we will provide them.
We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. The order page saves an unfinished order in your own browser's local storage so you don't lose what you typed; that data stays on your device and is cleared when you submit or clear it yourself.
Testing a minor requires the written consent of the child's legal guardian, and a guardian must supervise collection. We reserve the right to decline a case where we believe consent was not freely given or where local law prohibits the test.
Under GDPR you may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy, and you may withdraw consent or object to processing. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email nikun82@gmail.com with your order reference. We respond within one business day and act on valid requests without undue delay.
Reports are delivered through a protected channel, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to case files is restricted to the staff handling your order. Sample tubes are barcoded rather than labelled with names, so a sample cannot be identified from the tube alone.
Email us and we will tell you exactly what we hold about you, and delete it if you ask.
