The terms on which we accept and perform DNA testing work, including what happens if you change your mind, and what a report can and cannot be used for.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms govern testing services supplied by Zhejiang Geneasy Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Unified Social Credit Code 91330681MA289D352H), registered at Room 206, Building 1, No. 9 Qianxi Road, Taozhu Subdistrict, Zhuji City, Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China. By placing an order you accept these terms.
We perform laboratory DNA analysis and issue a written report. Our service covers analysis and reporting — it does not include legal advice, immigration advice, or medical diagnosis.
A report stating a probability of relationship is a scientific opinion based on the samples provided. Whether a court, authority or agency accepts it is their decision, and depends on the procedural rules that apply to your case. If your test needs to meet a specific legal standard, tell us before you order so we can confirm the collection and documentation that standard requires.
Where a test reports health-related markers, the result is not a diagnosis and does not replace consultation with a qualified clinician. Discuss any health-related result with your own doctor. We can supply results to a clinician you nominate.
An order is placed when you submit the order form. We confirm receipt by email and assign a reference. The contract between us begins when we accept your order and dispatch a collection kit or accept samples. We may decline an order where consent is unclear, where the requested test is not technically achievable, or where local law prohibits it — in which case we refund anything you have paid.
Prices are shown in the currency you select and exclude any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied in your country. Kit shipping costs are shown at checkout. Any charges levied on the shipment by your country's customs authority are payable by you.
Shipping and courier costs already incurred are not refundable. To cancel, email us with your order reference.
We report probabilities derived from the genetic markers analysed, using validated methods and dual review. A result can be affected by sample quality, by the people available for testing, and by rare biological events such as mutation or chimerism. Where a result is not definitive, we will say so and explain the options for resolving it rather than presenting a weaker conclusion as a firm one.
Results are released only to the people named on the order, or to someone they authorise in writing. We do not disclose results to family members, employers, insurers or authorities without consent, unless compelled by law. See our Privacy Policy for how data and samples are handled and destroyed.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken by courts, authorities or third parties on the basis of a report. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, courier failure, or events outside our control.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute is subject to the courts of the place where our registered office is located. Your statutory rights as a consumer in your own country are not affected where they cannot be waived.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you placed it. Questions about any clause: nikun82@gmail.com.
Ask before you order — we would rather explain the limits of a test than sell you one that cannot answer your question.
